Black Friday originated in America and has been the busiest shopping day of the year since 2005. The rest of the world has quickly caught on, and now Black Friday it is a global phenomenon.
This year, Black Friday officially lands on the 29th of November. However, Amazon and many others have stretched the period so it covers two Fridays—Friday November 22 to Friday November 29— so the shopping frenzy has started earlier and will last eight whole days!
If you’ve been thinking about buying a VR headset for yourself or a loved one, now is the perfect time to get shopping. I’ve had a look around and gathered together a list of some of the best VR deals out there. So, what are you waiting for?!

Oculus
The release of the Oculus Quest earlier this year took the immersive industry by storm. It’s no surprise, therefore, that everyone’s eyes are on Oculus to see what discounts will be available this Black Friday. Well, if you’ve been wanting to get your hands on the Quest or a Rift S, now is definitely the time to!
Oculus plans to bundle its Quest headset with all three episodes of its critically acclaimed Star Wars VR series, Vader Immortal, which is usually priced at $30. This will be available from November 21st until January 31st, so there’s plenty of time to get your hands on this epic bundle. You’ll need to activate your Oculus Quest within 30 days of your purchase to get Vader Immortal for free, with March 2nd being the last possible day to redeem the offer.
The Oculus Rift S is being discounted. It will be available for $350 (usually $399) from November 28th to December 2nd from Amazon, Oculus, Lenovo and Best Buy.
The Oculus Go is also seeing some good discounts, so if you’re up for a cheaper standalone HMD that will fulfil your basic VR needs, take advantage of these slashed prices! The 32GB model will be discounted from $199 to just $149 and the 64GB model will be reduced from $249 to $199.
