And Scotland offers some beautiful scenery on its railway routes with stunning scenery passengers can experience.
From the cinematic beauty of the Glenfinnan Viaduct to the West Highland Line, there's plenty of incredible journeys across Scotland passing through hundreds of train stations.
In fact, during 2020 - 2021, more than 380 million passenger journeys were made on national rail services in the UK.
According to the ORR (Office of Rail and Road) this increase in passengers has contributed to an overall deterioration in punctuality and reliability - but has also lead to an increase in complaints.
Gathering information gathered from Tripadvisor databases, Distrelec has analysed the data to find out which stations make commuters the most, and least, happy.

Happiest stations in the UK

The top fourteen stations include St Pancras station - one of the busiest stations in the UK, with major amenities, eateries and things to do. St.
Glasgow Central Station came in at second place, while picturesque Gleneagles Railway Station also made the top 14.
