Week 14 of the NFL season is here with the Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Rams kicking things off on Thursday night
That means it’s time for you to lock in your survivor pool (or knockout pool or whatever you call it) pick for this week and continue on and avoid elimination. So we decided it’s time to give you some help with that by ranking the five best teams to target, while trying to factor in those leagues that require you to only use a squad once per season.
Past picks: Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6 | Week 7 | Week 8 | Week 9 | Week 10 | Week 11 | Week 12 | Week 13
Here’s who you should be considering ahead of Week 14 in descending order:
5
Las Vegas Raiders (at Los Angeles Rams)
I really like how the Raiders match up against banged-up LA. They’re only this low because of their tendency for letdowns this season.
4
Buffalo Bills (vs. New York Jets)
I have a hard time believing the Jets will beat Buffalo twice this season, so the Bills make the list. It might be a nail-biter, though.
3
Tennessee Titans (vs. Jacksonville Jaguars)
These teams know each other very well, so that part makes me nervous. But the Titans should be able to take care of business.
2
Dallas Cowboys (vs. Houston Texans)
The only reason Dallas isn’t No. 1 on this list is because we already picked them this year. But if the Cowboys are still available in your pool, this is an easy decision.
1
Kansas City Chiefs (at Denver Broncos)
Yes, Denver plays very good defense. But I don’t like the chances of a team that can’t score against a team like the Chiefs that typically finds ways to get into the end zone.
