The Beatles And Solo Members Release New Music For Fans

John Lennon

On August 6, 1966, The Beatles held a press conference in New York City, marking a significant moment in music history. Today, three out of the four Beatles have released new material, causing a stir among fans.

As part of Record Store Day 2024, George Harrison has reissued two of his early solo albums, 'Electronic Sound' and 'Wonderwall Music,' on zoetrope picture discs. Limited to 3,400 copies each, these releases are sure to attract collectors.

John Lennon is also treating fans with a new EP, available on both black and colorful LPs. This EP serves as a preview for the upcoming Ultimate Edition of the same title, 'Mind Games,' originally released in 1973.

Ringo Starr has joined his former bandmates with a new EP titled 'Crooked Boy,' featuring four new songs co-written with Linda Perry. Limited to 2,000 copies, this release offers fresh material for fans to enjoy.

Additionally, The Beatles themselves are participating in Record Store Day by offering four of their early singles on three-inch vinyl. This unique format provides fans with a special collectible item to commemorate the band's iconic discography.

Record Store Day aims to support independent record stores by offering exclusive releases from top artists, providing a boost to these businesses. The limited quantities of these special releases add to their appeal, making them sought-after items for music enthusiasts.
