But despite so much drama hitting screens, ITV is not finished yet as there's plenty coming to the platform in March. Here are all the dramas coming to ITV and ITVX in March.

The Bay - series 4

Marsha Thomason as DS Jenn Townsend (ITV)

Release date - March 8

ITV has confirmed the return of the hit Morecambe-based drama, The Bay, written by Daragh Carville. The fourth series sees Marsha Thomason (Cobra, White Collar) reprise her role as Morecambe CID’s Family Liaison Officer, DS Jenn Townsend.

Marsha stars alongside series regulars Daniel Ryan (Innocent, Home Fires), Erin Shanagher (Peaky Blinders, Censor), Thomas Law (The World’s End, A Cinderella Story) and Andrew Dowbiggin (Cobra, Coronation Street). The series also sees the return of Barry Sloane (Six, Revenge), Georgia Scholes (Hollyoaks), David Carpenter and Emme Haynes.

Six Four - new series

Release date: March 30

Inspired by the best-selling novel Six Four by Hideo Yokoyama, the new drama is set primarily in Glasgow. Starring Kevin McKidd, the drama is a dark and compelling story of kidnap, corruption, betrayal and an uncompromising search for the truth, when Chris and Michelle O'Neill’s teenage daughter goes missing.

A synopsis reads: "Serving police detective, Chris, is provided with a startling revelation about an infamous, unsolved case that once divided the police when a local girl called Julie Mackie disappeared. Now, reeling from the news that his own daughter has gone missing, Chris is approached by a journalist who tells him that fatal mistakes were covered-up in Julie’s disappearance. Revisiting the case, Chris uncovers a series of undeniable errors, corruption and unbridled ambition." Six Four will launch exclusively on ITVX.

Grace - series 3

John Simm as Roy Grace (ITV)

Release date: March

Grace is returning to screens for season 3 and will see John Simm reprise his role as Brighton-based Detective Superintendent Roy Grace. The drama is an adaptation of international, bestselling author Peter James' novels, and has proven popular with viewers.

While an exact release date is yet to be confirmed, what we do know is that the new series will star Richie Campbell as DS Glenn Branson, Zoë Tapper as Cleo Morey and Craig Parkinson as DS Norman Potting, and will comprise three feature-length films.
