Former Bachelor star Colton Underwood has confirmed that he is set to marry.
The Season 23 star, 30, has announced that he an partner Jordan C Brown, 39, are now engaged after less than a year of dating.
Colton bravely came out as gay in April last year during an emotional chat on TV and told of his relationship to Jordan just a few months later.
And now the duo are ready to take their relationship to the next step as they prepare to tie the knot.
Speaking to People Magazine on Monday, Colton said: "I’m extremely happy! 2021 was the most transformative year of my life.
"Starting 2022 off with my best friend, teammate and now fiancé is something I never thought was going to be possible."
The pair's decision to wed came as they celebrated a trip to the Central Coast of California.
Colton continued: "After my birthday, Jordan and I went to Big Sur for a weekend getaway to decompress and relax in nature.
"I couldn’t have pictured a more beautiful place to celebrate an amazing milestone in my life and relationship."
The first time they were romantically linked in public came in September 2021 after they were spotted looking cosy in Hawaii.
At the time, a source told Page Six: "They were all over each other at the resort."
In December, they made their relationship Instagram official, just five months after Colton came out as gay.
During the chat with Good Morning America, Colton revealed he had long been running from his true self but he was now ready to follow his heart.
He explained: "I've ran from myself for a long time. I've hated myself for a long time.
"And I'm gay. And I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing it. And the next step in all of this was sort of letting people know."
He admitted that it had taken him some time to process his feelings and the conversation with Good Morning America was the next step in his journey, although he was nervous to take it.
"I'm still nervous, but yeah," he continued at the time. "It's been a journey for sure."
He was the star of hit dating show The Bachelor in 2019 and chose Cassie Randolph as his final pick.
While the couple did discuss getting engaged, Colton never popped the question on the show and less than two years into their relationship they decided to go their separate ways.
He had earlier starred in The Bachelorette in 2018 and also went on to feature in series four of Bachelor in Paradise.
