The Ashes 2019: How to listen to England v Australia test match cricket radio commentary in the UK and abroad

The England cricket team are desperate to reclaim The Ashes from Australia.

Over five matches Joe Root and Tim Paine's teams will battle it out at Edgbaston, Lord's, Emerald Headingly, Old Trafford and the Kia Oval.

For many people watching and entire test match on Sky Sports is a big commitment, even for the post passionate fans.

What most people want to do is have some nice commentary from the calming tones from the BBC Test Match Special team.

However when you are on holiday abroad it can be impossible to pick up Ashes commentary due to "rights reasons".

With Ashes Cricket only coming around every two years it is really frustrating if you can't follow the progress of England and the Aussies.

There are several ways to listen to TMS abroad but many involve paying for a VPN.

A free alternative is to listen to the free Internet commentary from the team at Guerilla Cricket.

This was started by a group of guys who simply watch the cricket from the comfort of a sofa on TV - and broadcast their own commentary.

Guerilla Cricket is known well know for some hilarious chat and jingles while also having a decent knowledge of the game. It is a great light hearted alternative to TMS that you can stream from anywhere in the world.
