Asda shoppers have been left blown away after discovering a cheap hack that can get them a freshly cooked pizza for just 40p.
With the current cost of living crisis, indulging in a takeaway pizza from big brands such as Papa John's, Domino's and Pizza Hut might not be a luxury some can afford.
Luckily, you don't have to ditch them completely, as you can pick up a freshly cooked pizza for much less from Asda with a simple hack that has taken social media by a storm.
All shoppers simply need to do is pop to their local Asda pizza counter where they can get a custom made pizza cooked and ready to go within two minutes for just 40p, reports Manchester Evening News.
Costing from as little as just £3.50, the supermarket's freshly made pizzas are a fraction of the cost of some major brands, such as Papa John's which can set you back around £16.99.
The easy hack went viral on TikTok recently, after Asda shared it to the public in a video that has since managed to gather over 4.3 million views from rather impressed shoppers.
The video highlights that Asda employees can whip up a pizza with a vast variety of fresh toppings in-store before cooking it for the full takeaway experience for just 40p.
With many shoppers maybe feeling the January blues this year, the hack was quickly liked by over 40k users, with many branding the supermarket's pizzas "an underappreciated gem."
One user raved: "The best news I've heard all year."
A second commented: "ASDA pizzas are genuinely really good and affordable, finally [you] can have it cooked in-store.”
A third raved: "ASDA, get some mopeds/delivery drivers and do home delivery and you would blow Domino's out the water! One of the best pizzas out there!”
