Nicolas Pepe is set to miss three Arsenal fixtures following his red card against Leeds United on Sunday evening.
The Ivorian was sent for an early bath just six minutes into the second half after an apparent headbutt on Leeds' Ezgjan Alioski.
The red card didn't have too much of an impact on the result, Arsenal holding out for a goalless draw having already struggled to get into the game while Pepe was still on the pitch.
The Gunners now face three games without one of their wingers as they look to improve on a poor start to the campaign, but what games does that include?
Pepe's three-game ban will cover Premier League games against Wolves, Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley, games that will, no doubt, be crucial for Mikel Arteta's men as they desperately attempt to turn things around.
Arsenal do have the opportunity to appeal the decision but given the footage of the headbutt is very clear, that's not an avenue they are likely to pursue and Pepe's three-match league suspension will ensue.
Though, Pepe will still be eligible to feature in the Europa League with the Gunners taking on Molde, Rapid Wien and Dundalk before the winger's Premier League ban comes to an end.
The game against Leeds was Pepe's eighth Premier League appearance of the season, and 12th overall, but he now faces a difficult conversation with Arteta following the outburst.
The Gunners boss is not likely to be best pleased with Pepe whose performance during the time he was on the pitch didn't exactly make up for the dismissal.
No doubt, the Frenchman will have been relieved to see his teammates hold on for a point after struggling at Elland Road, but he now has the unenviable task of earning another opportunity after letting his boss and teammates down.
