Denisha Kaur Bharj may have been the fourth contestant fired from The Apprentice on Thursday but she's revealed it's not all bad news.
The eyelash entrepreneur announced she is having her first baby in the aftermath of her departure from the show.
She was given her marching orders by Lord Sugar after being project manager of the losing team. Denisha took to the spin-off show, The Apprentice: You're Fired and showed off her growing bump as she discussed her failings on the series.
She cradled her bump as she entered the stage to an applause. Host Tom Allen joked something had changed about the star, to which she replied: "It might be I'm building a family and a business at the same time."
Denisha later explained to The Sun : "I have obviously got the launch of my new product, the lash shampoo, but as well as building that, I am going to be building a family.
"When we were leaving the process and they were asking us how we felt, I honestly genuinely think everything happens for a reason."
And she confessed that while she is aware of what gender her baby will be, she will be trying to keep it a secret.
However, she admitted it'll be hard work as she's "not very good at lying at all!"
On the main show, Lord Sugar made it clear he felt Denisha lacked people skills.
The candidates were tasked with a game of find and seek in Brighton as each team was given a laminated list of nine weird and wonderful items they were tasked with locating. The team that secured the most items at the lowest prices won and the day ended with a race back to the iconic Brighton Palace Pier.
Once the fun of the race was over, Lord Sugar was on hand to choose Denisha to go home.
Turning to the unlucky contestant, he said: "You had your chance to show me whether you were any good at logistics and dealing with people.
"I’m very sorry to say that you have not impressed me. So it is with regret, Denisha, that you’re fired."
