The Apprentice first ever 'hijabi receptionist' goes viral for all the right reasons

The Apprentice 's newest receptionist has gone viral - for all the right reasons.

Lord Alan Sugar's newest receptionist is none other than Khadeejah Khan, from Pakistan - and the new TV star is the first 'hijabi receptionist' to ever grace the BBC series.

Although the new series has just kicked off, Khadeejah has already gone viral on social media, with fans begging to see more of her bubbly personality.

Khadeejah shared the news of her new role on TikTok as she posted a video of herself answering the phone at the iconic desk from the Apprentice.

Alongside the video, the BBC star penned: "POV: You're the hijabi receptionist on The Apprentice. Lord Sugar is ready for you #theapprentice #theapprenticeuk #lordsugar #receptionist #hijabi #fyp #bbciplayer."

Her quirky TikTok has also been showered with comments praising and congratulating the BBC star for becoming the very first hijabi receptionist on The Apprenctice - with many women gushing that they finally 'feel seen' and represented now that Khadeejah has bagged a spot on the iconic reality show.

"I absolutely love to see the hijabi recognition. You are so great and should be so proud of yourself," one TikTok user gushed.

A third social media user commented: "Incredible! All I could talk about last night watching was that 'it’s a hijabi right you all saw that too. Represent girl Mashallah."

"Thank you for representing us hijabis! So happy to see the representation, finally," someone else commented.

The Apprentice has returned for its 17th series (BBC)

The new series of The Apprentice has already been dubbed as the 'most interesting yet' as producers have lined up two hair salon owners, two sweet shop owners and a safari guide to compete for Lord Sugar's investment.

Among the usual city bankers and accountants, a wide range of applicants with careers in everything from martial arts to selling wedding dresses are taking part.

The Apprentice has returned for its 17th series and j oining Lord Sugar will be his trusted advisors Baroness Karren Brady, Tim Campbell MBE and Claude Littner.

The Apprentice airs on BBC One and iPlayer
