The Apprentice viewers seemed to back Lord Alan Sugar 's decision on Thursday, as the 2022 final saw Harpreet Kaur confirmed as the winner.
As well as securing the £250,000 for her business, Harpreet gained a business partner out of Lord Sugar too as she stormed to victory.
Harpreet's dessert business plan won him over, meaning Kathryn Burn missed out when it came to her matching pyjama business.
As the result came in, viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on if the right candidate won.
Most seemed pleased for Harpreet and agreed with the result, while others did back Kathryn for the win.
One fan tweeted: "Yes Harpreet! By far the best candidate throughout the process. A deserved winner.."
Another agreed: "Yesss! Congratulations Harpreet! A worthy winner (and let’s face it, the only logical choice!) Plus, those desserts looked YUM."
A third added: "The most worthy winner I’ve seen. Harpreet smashed it out the ball park from day one! Well done woop woop."
Meanwhile another wrote: "Yes Harpreet! By far the best candidate throughout the process. A deserved winner."
Others backed Kathryn though, with one commenting: "Nice to see Lord Alan Sugar went to the easy option of yet another dessert shop. So many of them around making such a huge profit margin. The show should be called The Business not @bbcapprentice Kathryn was the better business woman by far."
A second said: "For what its worth, I thought Kathryn was winning that," and another tweeted: "Kathryn robbed."
When it came to the decision making, Lord Sugar confessed it was a tough one, but ultimately he went for Harpreet.
Lord Sugar said: "It is a very, very difficult situation for me… Harpreet I’m not sure whether this business is scalable or whether you are trying to do too much and that’s what I’m worried about at the moment.
"Kathryn, I’m concerned on the longevity of it, and the popularity of it, it’s very hard, this is difficult for me…"
He went on, and shared of his decision: "A lot of the companies that I invest in are a start from scratch situation, basically what Kathryn is proposing, so ladies, I think that I’ve decided now…
"Harpreet, you’re going to be my business partner."
Speaking of her win as the news was revealed, the candidate couldn't believe it but said it was a "dream come true".
Harpreet explained: "I cannot believe Lord Sugar has chosen me to be his business partner!
"I have dreamed of this moment, and it just completely proves that if you work hard and you believe in yourself, dreams do come true."
