West Wales is known for its stunning coastline and gorgeous countryside and now a stunning accommodation in the region is front and centre of the Airbnb advert. You can enjoy an out-of-this-world holiday in the Apple Camping craft which looks exactly like a UFO.
Less than five miles from the picture-perfect seaside town of Tenby is the UFO-style pod that comes with its own crater hole and night-time laser display. Apple Camping, where the alien pod can be found, is in Redberth and there is also a jet, an airbus, a Pacman geodome, and various yurts to enjoy on the campsite.
Stepping into the UFO means using a remote control to open a door that drops down from its hinges to reveal steps in the style of a classic spaceship. To add to the eerie space theme customers can also request for the UFO to be lit up by lasers and smoke to really add to the atmosphere.

Inside you can enjoy classic themed games like Space Invaders and Defender and the UFO comes complete with eight windows providing 360-degree views of the outside world. There is also a double bed and two single beds meaning the UFO can sleep four.
Cooking facilities are found outside in a hexagonal cooking pod that has a hob, a sink, a kettle, a toaster, and a fridge. The UFO was built from recycled materials and more than 1,000 trees have been planted on the environmentally-aware campsite. You can keep up to date with the latest What's On news by signing up to the newsletter here.
The pod is also heated, making it perfect for a getaway at any time of the year, and there is a dome on top of the pod which allows for stargazing. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for an extra cost of £10 for a maximum of two dogs. Prices start from £169 per night for two people and it's £20 per person to add extra people on. You can book your stay at the UFO on the Apple Camping website.
