Irish band The Academic are announced as the headline act for Bulmers Live at Leopardstown music festival on July 18 taking place this summer.
The show takes place just after the band are due to finish their North American tour where they are the opening act for former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson.
The Academic say: “We are very excited to be playing Bulmers Live at Leopardstown. We have been on tour across the world this year and it will be great to be back on homeground this summer for our only show in Dublin."

The band from just outside of Mullingar have gone from strength to strength since 2013 and over the years they have supported The Pixies, The Rolling Stones, Noel Gallagher and The Killers and even performed for US President Joe Biden in April during his Irish visit.
The Academic joins already-announced headliners Wild Youth, Keywest, DJ Mark McCabe, Wallis Bird, and The Undertones for the festival.
Bulmers Live at Leopardstown takes place over eight nights and will showcase music and entertainment by top international and Irish music acts after racing.
Tickets will be available from €25 and can be purchased from the Live at the Leopardstown website.
