But on Wednesday, the Welsh journalist said he had been shocked by some of the "weird responses".
He shared a picture of him with his dog Mot, and said: "A tête-à-tête with Mot about some of the weird responses to my Covid tweet. The absolute state of some people. If you know nothing about science it might be wiser to trust experts all over the world who agree that vaccines reduce the risk of serious illness."
Reading the replies, the majority were positive and wished him back to better health.
But some others questioned the vaccination programme, with one saying "It’s the fact you have had the three toxic jabs that has destroyed your immune system that’s why you feel ill. According to Medical Scientists those jabbed will only get much worse over the coming months
"The jabs do not protect you or you from protecting others. Hwyl fawr Boyo".
