Tottenham have been handed a huge blow to their season, with Hugo Lloris set to be out for up to eight weeks through injury. The 36-year-old suffered ligament damage in Spurs' 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
Lloris does not require an operation on his knee but he's expected to miss a number of season-defining fixtures in the Premier League, Champions League and the FA Cup. With the Frenchman on the doctor's table, his absence will see Antonio Conte call up Fraser Forster.
The north Londoners signed the former Southampton shot-stopper in the summer to deputise Lloris and, in the event that he sustains a knock, fill in between the sticks. Forster, who penned a three-year deal with Tottenham in June, is set to be relied upon by Conte in some big games.

Worst case scenario, Lloris is expected to be out of action for eight weeks and will likely return in the first week of April. It's also been said that he could only be out for six weeks, returning mid to late March. So, with that being said, football.london has taken a look at the fixtures Lloris could miss for Tottenham.
Leicester City (A), February 11 - Premier League
Tottenham will be without Lloris for the first time since his injury against the Foxes at the King Power Stadium. Depending on how well, or poorly, the Frenchman's deputy performs, this fixture will set the tone in games to come.
AC Milan (A), February 14 - Champions League
A clash against the Rossoneri at the San Siro has never been an easy matchup so it will likely be a win-win scenario for whoever is between the sticks. If Spurs' stop-stopper does well then Conte's side will receive a huge boost and if he doesn't then it can be glossed over — AC Milan are the reigning Serie A champions at the end of the day.
West Ham (H), February 19 - Premier League
A London derby which will certainly see the red mist descend. By now, Tottenham — and the opposition — will be well aware of whether Lloris' backup should be feared or not.
Chelsea (H), February 26 - Premier League
Another huge London derby. Historically, this has been a blockbuster clash with flying tackles and lots of goals. Great confidence could be drawn from this game if the Spurs goalkeeper has a few moments of magic in N17.
Wolves (H), March 4 - Premier League
Wolves are teetering above the relegation zone so they'll be fighting for survival. They'll likely throw everything they have at the game so Lloris' backup could be busy...
AC Milan (H), March 8 - Champions League
Another massive, season-defining fixture Lloris is set to miss. Star goalkeeper Mike Maignan, who is expected to miss Milan's first leg against Spurs, could return for the Italian giants in this game which could be an issue.
Nottingham Forest (H), March 11 - Premier League
Steve Cooper's side have enjoyed some excellent form recently as they look to escape relegation. The arrival of former Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain shot-stopper Keylor Navas has already proven to be a great addition so this will be far from an easy tie for Tottenham.
Southampton (A), March 18 - Premier League
Lloris is in contention for a return against Southampton, though it depends on how quickly he recovers. Having the Frenchman back for the final straight of the season could be huge in Tottenham's race for top-four.
Everton (A), April 1 - Premier League
Worst case scenario, Lloris makes his return against Everton. Conte won't want to rush the Frenchman back but the international break prior will offer some important days on the training pitch at Hotspur Way.
