From Louis Vuitton to Emilia Wickstead, the 21st British Independent Film Awards was a high fashion affair. Hollywood's finest, including Emma Stone, Gemma Arterton and Olivia Colman, hit the red carpet at Old Billingsgate in London's East End decked out in a vibrant array of ensembles.
Stone wowed in a scarlet Louis Vuitton bespoke A-line dress, whilst Arterton opted for full-length pastel pink pleated gown by New Zealand-born designer Emilia Wickstead.
Also delivering a pop of pink was Doctor Who star Jodie Whittaker, who wore a fuchsia cut-out dress with ruffle detailing by Aphid London, as well as Nocturnal Animals' Ellie Bamber, who stood out in a puff-sleeve magenta gown by Salvatore Ferragamo.
Lady Macbeth star Naomi Ackie was another follower of the red and pink trend in a show-stopping scarlet gown, as was Been So Long's Michaela Coel, who wore a striking red and white print mini dress.
Winners of the night, however, kept things monochrome. Felicity Jones looked sharp a white double-breasted suit by Ruhl to collect her Variety Award, whilst Best Actress winner Olivia Colman wore a slick black dress by Victoria Beckham.
And whilst Rachel Weisz - winner of Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Favourite alongside Colman - was unable to make the event, her co-star ensured she didn't miss out. The Crown star turned up with a cardboard cut-out of Weisz's face, which she proceeded to pose with throughout the night.
Most thoughtful, ma'am.
