Man, game delays can be boring. Super boring. You go from being in the middle of the action in whatever sport it is you’re watching to…absolutely nothing. Just impatiently waiting.
The 76ers and Mavericks game was delayed on Friday night for quite a bit after a rim got bent during play. It took 44 minutes to fix, to be exact.
Luka Doncic pointed the bent rim out after he made a shot on it. He knew the ball went in on the low side of it and things seemed strange. Immediately, he knew the rim was off. He pointed it out to the officials.

And from there, boredom ensued. So much boredom that the 76ers decided it was time for a game of tic-tac-toe.

The 76ers obviously smoked the Mavericks here. Like, it wasn’t even close. The Mavs were on the defensive through the entire game. The center strategy from the Sixers was a wise one.
Fans really got a kick out of this. They were also simultaneously laughing and roasting the Mavs account for getting dusted the way they did.
