The 5 best prop bets for NFL Week 4

This week we’re doing something different by taking the most prolific scorer to score again and four guys whose name start with “J” (Joe, Jonathan, Josh and Justin) all hitting Over their projection. Let’s end September with a bang.

Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook

5
Los Angeles Rams RB Kyren Williams scores a touchdown (-140)

Sean McVay has a history of playing a single running back in a game. That means Williams is on the field almost every snap and could score on a long run, a reception, or a goal-line attempt. The Chicago Bears have a solid defense, but have allowed four rushing touchdowns. The Rams are hobbled at wide receiver and leaning heavily on Williams. If the Rams score two touchdowns, Williams will almost certainly have one of them.

4
Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow OVER 260.5 passing yards (+100)

This number is high, which explains the even return on investment for this bet. The Bengals are frustrated, and the Carolina Panthers defense is capable of getting lit up. Last week’s heartbreaking loss to the Commanders has dropped the Bengals to 0-3. They are beyond desperation. Most teams would ease up if they’re comfortably ahead in the second half. Don’t expect that from the Bengals until Burrow is satisfied.

3
Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor OVER 72.5 rushing yards (-115)

The Pittsburgh Steelers defense has been extremely strong out of the gate and have limited opposing runners to just 3.5 yards a carry. Taylor is averaging more than five yards a carry and has as many 20-carry contests as anyone in the league in the games in which he has played. If the Colts are going to beat the Steelers, they will need a heavy dose of Taylor. Even if Pittsburgh holds him to 3.5 yards a carry, he may get the 21 carries needed to still go Over.

2
Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson OVER 79.5 receiving yards (-120)

Jefferson is an electric receiver who is liable to top 100 yards any time he steps on the field. He doesn’t need additional motivation to play the Green Bay Packers – Minnesota’s top rival. Head coach Kevin O’Connell finds ways to move Jefferson all over the field to minimize double teams, and the Packers play their share of bump-and-run coverage. One mistake against Jefferson and more than half this number disappears in a single reception.

1
Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen OVER 32.5 rushing yards (-115)

Sunday’s game between the Bills and Baltimore Ravens is one of the most anticipated of the season. Allen and Lamar Jackson both can stake claim to being the best dual-threat quarterback in the league. This matchup seems to go beyond just the teams. Jackson and Allen are never on the field at the same time, so each time one has the ball, he has something to prove to the other. Allen doesn’t need to run, but in this game he will.
