Week 4 is going to be the last time bettors will have 16 games to choose from for the next month, so we’ll go big with big-time teams.
This week, we’re betting on both defending conference champions, a storied divisional rivalry bringing more fireworks than expected, the greatest defensive mind of his generation doing his thing, and a bad prime-time double-dip for New York fans.

5
New England Patriots at Dallas Cowboys: Take the Under of 43.5 points (-110)
The Patriots specialize in low-scoring games. The Cowboys offense has struggled. Bill Belichick is going to have a defense dialed up to limit what Dak Prescott gets downfield. This game could stay Under for multiple reasons, ranging from the Patriots offense not being able to score more than 10 points or both teams having to settle for field goals instead of touchdowns. When you can with a score of 23-20 or 33-10, you like your chances.
4
Take Philadelphia Eagles and lay 8.5 points (-110) vs. Washington Commanders
Great teams have “statement wins” throughout the season. The Eagles are 3-0 but haven’t had one of those yet. They have wins over the Patriots, Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers but haven’t dominated all three phases in any of them. The Commanders are coming off a 37-3 clubbing from the Buffalo Bills, and the Eagles are a better team. Philly gets its first complete game of the season and win by double digits.
3
Take Seattle Seahawks and lay 1.5 points at New York Giants (-110)
The Seahawks have won their last two games thanks to scoring 37 points in both. The Giants have surrendered 98 points with a season-low of 28. The Giants don’t have an offense that can compete with what the Seahawks can do – especially if New York falls behind early. Even if the game is low-scoring, the lower score is almost surely to be the Giants.
2
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns: Take the Over of 40.5 points (-110)
This O/U number is exceedingly low, so there should be reason. It isn’t the history of the rivalry of the Browns 1.0 and the Browns 2.0. In their last nine meetings, they have hit the Over this week’s number seven times. Add in that both teams have lost their franchise running backs due to injury, a critical divisional game will fall on the quarterbacks to win or lose. If Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson cut loose like the situation says it should, they may hit 50.
1
Take Kansas City Chiefs and lay 8.5 points (-110) at New York Giants
This may be as bad a two-night stand that MetLife Stadium has seen in some time. Both the Jets and Giants are being foisted on the rest of the world in prime time. The Giants have faced two legitimate Super Bowl contenders in their first three games. They lost to Dallas by 40 and lost to San Francisco by 18. Now, they’re going up against the defending champs and the Chiefs only have to win by 9? Yes, please.
