The 45 superstars we'd love to see perform at Anfield stadium

Anfield stadium held a series of gigs this summer and music fans are hoping there will be more to come.

In June, Take That performed at Liverpool FC’s stadium in what was the first concert at the venue in 10 years.

In the wake of the Reds Champions League success , it was a night to remember as Gerry Marsden joined Take That on stage for a stirring rendition of , which gave everyone goosebumps.

Next, rockers Bon Jovi took to the stadium for another memorable night, while P!nk rounded the summer series of Anfield gigs to a close with a sell-out gig -  which ended with a fan giving birth to her baby girl inside the stadium.

Now, the announcement of the stadium's expansion of the Anfield Road stand has come with the news that officials are applying for a permanent concert application to host events all year round.

There is a huge wishlist of acts who we’d love to see come to Liverpool.
