The 33-second goal clip that made Newcastle United fans rave amid 'Phil Foden' comparison

Newcastle United fans have been left wowed by a stunning solo goal from young prospect Elliot Anderson. The Scotland youth international has impressed since joining Bristol Rovers on loan in January, and netted his second senior strike in their comfortable home victory against Harrogate Town on Saturday.

Footage shows Anderson receiving the ball from a quick free-kick and immediately driving at the heart of the visitors' defence. The talented teenager beats the first man easily, before showing great composure to shrug off a challenge and find space between two defenders.

Anderson then goes on to calmly sidefoot his finish past Mark Oxley to score Rovers' second in a 3-0 victory. The clip was immediately shared on social media by the EFL's highlights partner Quest, and it was then picked up by Newcastle's account.
