Take Kansas City Chiefs on the moneyline (-120) vs. Philadelphia Eagles

It has been fashionable to bet against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl the last two years because you could make a case for their opponent, especially their offense. With the noteworthy exception of a Scoop-6 touchdown off a Jalen Hurts fumble, the Eagles dominated in Super Bowl LVII.
Philadelphia held the ball for almost 36 minutes with scoring drives of 8, 8, 11, 12, and 17 plays – and still lost. If Patrick Mahomes is within striking distance at the start of the fourth quarter — like it or not — betting against him doesn’t make sense.
The only people who should make this bet are those convinced the Eagles are going to win and can get a better payoff than getting 1.5 points (see below).

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Take Over 48.5 points (-115)

In their current three-year run of excellence, the Chiefs have averaged 26 points a game. In this postseason, the Eagles have scored an average of 35 points an outing. Every game develops, but both teams have offensive weapons they didn’t have in their last meeting.
Saquon Barkley gets the headlines, but the Chiefs didn’t have Kareem Hunt, DeAndre Hopkins or Marquise Brown — all offensive upgrades ready to be used. Without these weapons, 73 points were scored. In the Super Bowl, the foot is on the gas until the gas runs out.

Take Kansas City Chiefs and lay 1.5 points (-105) vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Only once a Super Bowl has been decided by one point. Scott Norwood prevented that from being undisputed. And that was more than 30 years ago. If you’re betting the Chiefs, laying one point isn’t a problem.
There are no ties to lose by in the Super Bowl. You’re giving one point – win by two and you cover. The betting is simple.
