Shoppers have been raving over Asda's £3 candles described as 'better than Yankee'.
With many people choosing to buy scented candles for their own homes at this time of year, as well as for Christmas presents, demand is huge.
But when one shopper shared her 'bargain' £14.99 Yankee candle she bought from Amazon in a budget Facebook group, many followers said they opt for Asda's Pacific Wax Co range.
The 510g candles come in a range of scents, from the seasonal Christmas By The Fire, to Cosy Cottage, Celebration, Coastal Breeze, Espresso Martini and more.
Asda's large Yankee candles are £10 each, more than three times its cheaper range.
"Asda £3 ones are much better," said one shopper. "I used to buy Yankee loads but never spent more than £10 on Amazon."
Another added: "I agree, the £3 Asda Christmas by the Fire one is brilliant, great scent and burns really well."
For those people who do prefer Yankee, many of the shoppers mentioned an offer that Farmfoods has launched this week, selling a mix of any four large 623g Yankee candles for £40.
The offer is subject to availability in stores.
