The 2022/23 final Premier League table predicted now teams are known as Man Utd to miss out and Nottingham Forest to go straight back down

We now know the 20 teams which will make up the Premier League next season.

Following Burnley's final-day relegation to the Championship and Nottingham Forest beating Huddersfield Town 1-0 in the play-off final to reach the Premier League, next year's lineup is confirmed.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City are odds-on to retain their crown next year, with the price as short to 4/7 on SkyBet. Another agonising second place is tipped for Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, although their odds are as short as 2/1 to claim the title.

Londoners Chelsea and Tottenham are expected to fill up the final two Champions League places, meaning Manchester United, under the stewardship of new boss Erik ten Hag, are being tipped to miss out on the top four all together, with a fifth-placed finish expected. Arsenal are one behind them at 50/1 to win the title.

At the other end of the table, well it's no surprise to see promoted teams Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest being heavily tipped to go straight back down to the Championship. All three sides will doubtless make some additions to their squad, though, so perhaps sounder judgment can be made later in the window.

Meanwhile, Brentford, Southampton and Crystal Palace are all fancied to endure a little battle to avoid the drop next season, with Leeds United and Everton not too far away after their nail-biting ends to the campaign.
