Kasper Schmeichel has been a revelation since signing for Celtic in the summer transfer window, with a series of top-level performances and a catalogue of clean sheets so far this season.
And with 18 clean sheets to his name in green and white already, the Denmark internationalist is well on course to smash a personal stat he's held since the 2009/10 campaign.
As you might expect, the club with whom the 38-year-old has recorded his most clean sheets is Leicester City – where the veteran stopper spent 11 years plying his trade, during which time he helped the EPL outfit win English football's biggest prize in 2016.
There, Schmeichel played 479 games, conceding 586 goals and recording 147 clean sheets between 2011 and 2022.
The goalkeeper's second most successful spell in clean sheet terms, however, was with Notts County. In 49 games during the 2009/10 campaign, Schmeichel conceded just 39 goals and recorded 25 clean sheets.

As per the 38-year-old's Transfermarkt career stats, in 28 games across all competitions for Celtic, the Dane has conceded 20 goals with an impressive 18 clean sheets.
All of which means, should Schmeichel manage to record a further seven clean sheets for the Hoops between now and the end of the current campaign, using this metric, his second-most successful stretch during his illustrious career will be with Celtic.
Currently signed at Parkhead on a short-term one-year deal that's set to expire in the summer of 2025, the goalkeeper is currently in talks with the club to activate a one-season extension.
