The NFL playoff bracket for the NFL postseason in 2024 is set, after 2023 ended with some drama in Week 18.
And while Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas is just about a month away, there’s no time like the present to start rooting for certain matchups in the title game … that is, if you’re not a fan of the 14 teams left vying for a championship.
So we’re ranking the 10 best matchups by watchability for those of us who don’t have rooting interests. We’re looking for the best possible games, the ones with must-see storylines and just a general sense of a contest we’d be excited to tune in for:
10
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles
We start with a rematch of last year’s title game … but why so low? Because these two teams have been sloppy and inconsistent. But it would still be fun (and Taylor Swift would be there).
9
Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Rams
This is my All-Chaos Bowl, with both these teams emerging from competitive conferences. You get so much offense out of both these teams, too.
8
Miami Dolphins vs. San Francisco 49ers
It will be forever known as the Mike McDaniel Game, in which he plays against the franchise he coached before landing the Fins’ job.
7
Miami Dolphins vs. Detroit Lions
The Lions have never been to a Super Bowl! Can you imagine this? And in a game against the Dolphins, it would be all kinds of offensive firepower.
6
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys
Time to get more serious. The Cowboys look like a contender and it’s been a while since they’ve been in the Super Bowl. Facing Patrick Mahomes and Co. would be solid.
5
Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys
Time to get the top seed in the AFC involved.
4
Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers
A replay of Super Bowl LIV? Sign me up.
3
Buffalo Bills vs. Dallas Cowboys
CIRCLE THE WAGONS! What year is this? We’re bringing the 1990s back, baby!
2
Buffalo Bills vs. San Francisco 49ers
Would be a fun game for sure.
1
Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers
The obvious choice, and with good reason — the two No. 1 seeds, plus a rematch of a game from earlier this year.
