We've always known that Wales can boast some of the best beaches in the UK, if not the world, and while there have been countless lists ranking some of our top coastal locations, TikTok has now released its own data which flags up the best - or most ogled - beaches. And the fact TikTok's list of our stunning coastline has been seen by millions upon millions of users of the globally popular site can only be a good thing, right?
The top 10 in Wales list was compiled by Parkdean Resorts, which has several sites in Wales. The study analysed TikTok data to see which are the most hashtagged and viewed beaches on the popular social media app to reveal the most aesthetic beaches around the country. TikTok has a knack of getting gorgeous places to go viral, or at least show them to a whole new audience, like when this user thought she 'discovered' Portmeirion or when one lucky holidaymaker stayed on this private holiday island in the Menai Strait.

Top of the beach list is Pembrokeshire's Freshwater West with 341m views, followed by Whitesands with 17.2 million. Other beaches around the country include Aberporth, Abersoch and Tywyn.

All data was pulled in July 2022 looking at views and hashtags for every single listed beach in Wales according to the UK Beach List.
