The £1 dupe for Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk lip liner with rave reviews is back in stock

If you didn’t know by now, we’re a sucker for a good dupe - especially when it means saving on beauty favourites.

Last year budget beauty brand Essence, which is stocked in Wilko, launched its very own dupe of Charlotte Tilbury’s renowned lip liner, Pillow Talk - and it’s back in stock after selling out.

Unlike the original which is priced at £17, you can get your hands on the Essence version for just £1 - what a bargain.

The shade ‘Lost in Love’ has had plenty of five star reviews with customers insisting that the products are almost identical - apart from the price, of course.

Since being restocked, the cruelty-free and vegan-friendly product, previously called the Soft Contouring Lip Liner, is now known as the Soft & Precise Lip Liner and comes in a whopping 16 shades. Fear not though as it still retains that winning formula and super low price point.

According to Essence’s online description, the budget liner is perfect for contouring your lips and boasts a silky finish for velvety-matte results. It will also help create a show-stopping look, thanks to its highly-pigmented colour - perfect for keeping your lips looking fab all night long.

Essence's budget version looks just like Charlotte Tilbury's signature Pillow Talk liner (Charlotte Tilbury)

One beauty blogger bought it deliberately as a cheaper alternative to the Charlotte Tilbury pencil, and was blown away by it.

“It strikes just the right balance between waxy and creamy, so it easily draws a clean line without skipping or pulling on my lips. And it stays on for hours,” she wrote. “The shade is also a flawless match for my lips, which makes it perfect for overlining without looking obvious.”

“I love this pencil so much, I buy it in bulk and keep one in every bag.”

After disappearing from shelves for a while, we have a feeling bargain hunters will be snapping up this must-have dupe, so you better act fast if you want to get your hands on it.

If you're looking to really up your lip game, the brand has an impressive range of lipsticks too which also look extremely similar to Charlotte Tilbury's signature shades, but they cost just £2.80 instead of £25.
