Jack Butland is hopeful he can emulate Rangers legends Andy Goram and Allan McGregor at Ibrox.
The summer signing, 30, penned a four-year deal at Rangers last month as Michael Beale strengthened his goalkeeping options after McGregor's departure.
And Butland has quickly been learning of the history at Rangers and has revealed his ambitions to continue the "rich history" of goalkeepers at the club.
Directly referencing the late Goram as well as McGregor, Butland conceded it'll be difficult to match the pair's achievements at Rangers but insists he is capable of following their lead as a Rangers keeper.
"That's the plan. You are talking about two goalies; 'The Goalie' and obviously Greegsy, two guys that have got an incredible history with the club, knew what Rangers is about.
"So me watching that memorial video to Andy Goram the other day painted a picture of what he was like, what he meant to the club and what the club meant to him.
"I think that is what this club is all about, it has got a rich history of top goalkeepers and that is something that I will be looking to continue both on and off the pitch.
"Just trying to learn about the club, enjoy it and take it all in and hopefully follow in their footsteps which of course is a big ask because of what they have done but it is what we are capable of doing and that would be great."
It comes after Rangers confirmed another glamour pre-season fixture at Ibrox.
The club confirmed this morning that Olympiacos will visit Glasgow later this month as part of pre-season preparations.
The showdown will take place on Wednesday, July 26 with 7.45pm kick-off.
