No Manchester United player has split opinion over the past decade more than Paul Pogba. The French midfielder moved to Juventus in 2012 and then returned to Old Trafford in 2016 for a record fee, though he has never truly threatened to fulfil his undoubted potential at United.
Some claim this is due to United failing to understand what sort of player Pogba actually is and so the Frenchman has never been given a role that suited him best. Others will have you believe it's more an issue of the player's attitude.
The answer probably lies somewhere in the middle, but no one is totally blameless in the mess that is Pogba's United career. However, it soon won't matter anymore as the World Cup winner prepares to leave Old Trafford.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba will rejoin Juventus this summer when his United contract expires. Some fans had hoped that the appointment of Erik ten Hag could have persuaded the Frenchman to pen fresh terms at United, though it seems those hopes have now been shattered.
At 29, Pogba still has plenty left to offer and Juventus will be hoping his experience and talent will help their youngsters flourish. Dusan Vlahovic will no doubt be pleased with the news as he's been starved of service at times since his move from Fiorentina in January.
United fans are split on the news that Pogba could return to Juve. They made their feelings known on social media.
