Former Liberty X star Michelle Heaton has shared a harrowing photo taken moments before she entered rehab while caught in the grip of a drugs and alcohol addiction.
The throwback image on Instagram shows her outside The Priory looking pale and gaunt. Michelle said she was "bewildered" and "very frightened" when she first entered rehab, Wales Online reports.
She added: "That day I took my last drink. Therefore my sobriety date is tomorrow... It feels like a lifetime ago and in some ways like it was yesterday. I can still remember heading into there wanting to come out a controlled drinker. A normal drinker.

"I had no idea how bad I actually was, and that that day would be my last day of drinking."
Michelle's celebrity friends rushed to offer her support in the comments section. Lorraine Kelly said: "So proud of you" followed by a red love heart emoji, while TV presenter Lisa Snowdon said: "An amazing achievement - huge love to you Michelle".
Former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, who took part in 2023 Dancing on Ice alongside Michelle, posted eight red love heart emojis.
Michelle's husband Hugh Hanley wrote: "So proud of you and how hard you work to achieve all these wins, I know it’s not easy but you are an inspiration to myself and the kids."
