Thandiwe Newton has revealed she's in hospital with an injury to her foot.
The social media update came after the actress, 49, was reported to have split with her husband of 24 years Ol Parker last weekend.
Taking to Instagram on Friday night, Thandiwe shared that she had sought medical attention after getting glass stuck in her foot.
The mum posted a photo of the emergency room to her Stories, writing alongside it 'In ER cause i got some stupid bit of glass in my foot.
"Ouch though," she added.
Thandiwe's image of the hospital featured a woman wrapped in a blanket which she described as a 'tender moment between mother and son.'
The Hollywood star is a mum to three children herself, with estranged husband Ol.
Last week fans of Thandiwe were left stunned by reports she had called quits on her marriage to the film director and screenwriter after 24 years together.
The actress also pulled out of the third instalment of the Magic Mike franchise, starring Channing Tatum.
A source told Page Six : "It became clear she couldn’t play the role.
"There is a lot going on in her personal life, she and her husband have separated. She seemed so stressed she even brought her two pet rabbits to her hotel for emotional support."
Warner Bros released a statement which said the star 'made the difficult decision to step away from the production to deal with family matters'.
Before the announcement, Thandiwe and Ol have not been seen together since their 2020 holiday to Ibiza.
While Thandiwe is yet to comment on rumours of the split, she broke her silence with a photo of a white strappy dress by designer Zoe Buckman to her Instagram page.
The garment featured the words 'Do we hate our women' stitched into the material in red thread.
Mirror Online has contacted Thandiwe for comment.
Thandie and Ol are parents to children Booker, Ripley and Nico - who has followed her mother into acting.
Nico, 17, made her film debut as Milly Farrier in the Disney remake of Dumbo in 2019.
She went on to star alongside Naomie Harris and Jude Law in the HBO miniseries The Third Day and starred alongside her mother in science fiction movie Reminiscence.
Thandiwe was due to star in the second sequel to Magic Mike which was confirmed in February this year.
Deadline confirmed the news of a third film, which will be created by Warner Bros. and premiere exclusively on HBO Max.
"As soon as I saw what Channing, Reid, and the Magic Mike choreographic team did with the live show, I said, "We have to make another movie." Mike Lane’s dream of connecting people through dance must be realised,' screenwriter Steven Soderbergh told the publication.
