GAA fans took to social media to complain about the quality of live footage between Mayo and Donegal and Sunday.
The two sides played out a thrilling affair in Markievicz Park in Sligo with the game being shown live on TG4.
But viewers were disgruntled with coverage as the cameras were impacted by the inclement weather.
And a number of TG4 viewers took to social media to vent their frustrations.
One said: "It’s unwatchable most of the time …. No plans made incase it would rain?"
While another said: "We're playing spot the ball."
And another added: "Did ye not expect it to rain in Ireland for a GAA match #unwatchable"
And TG4 released a statement through their GAA BEO, saying: "Very much appreciate the advice from all on here to wipe the camera lens…. We are also on the phone to the man above to turn off the rain. #GAABEO"
And they followed up with a second statement, saying: "A Chairde, our camera operators are constantly wiping the camera lenses out of vision. We are doing our best in difficult circumstances"
Mayo and Donegal played out an entertaining draw and Mayo boss James Horan was happy to scrape a point.
“The draw was the draw, it could have gone either way in a game like that. But I think some of the attributes we showed in the second half were pleasing.
“The effort and workrate of the guys in the tackle, and trying to change things. The first half didn’t work for us and we were tentative and whatever.
“The way guys changed things and went after the opposition, I thought, was very good. Whether we won or lost, I genuinely mean that, a lot of the stuff that we showed in the second half was very pleasing.”
