The wide receiver depth for this class has once again gotten even deeper as one of the nation’s top speedsters, Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy, has declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Worthy has been a key contributor in his three seasons on an explosive Texas Longhorn offense, recording over 750 yards in each of those years. His final season with the team was his most productive, putting up 1,014 yards and five touchdowns on 75 catches. Worthy’s 14.0 career yards per catch showcases his ability to move the ball down the field, and he has the talent to do it at the next level.

With a 40-yard dash likely timing somewhere in the 4.2 to 4.3 range, Worthy is going to turn heads during the pre-draft process. Worthy should already have a number of teams interested, given the level of separation he possesses on both short and long routes. Expect Worthy to hear his name called within the first two rounds of the 2024 NFL draft.
