Texas’ Bijan Robinson wowed fans and made Oklahoma State look so silly with huge TD run

Bijan Robinson is one of the best running backs in college football, and although the Texas running back’s Heisman Trophy campaign has cooled since the beginning of the season — he had the fifth-best preseason odds but is now outside of the top-15 — his monster plays are still dazzling.

Saturday against No. 11 Oklahoma State, Robinson showed up with a jaw-dropping first-quarter touchdown run to get the No. 20 Longhorns on the board.

After Texas’ opening drive ended with quarterback Quinn Ewers throwing an interception, Robinson found the end zone the next time his team had the ball. On 2nd-and-10 not three minutes into the first quarter, the junior running back got the ball, slid through chaos at midfield and, thanks to some great Texas blocking, found a perfect hole between Cowboys.

Escaping tackles with exceptional speed, Robinson made Oklahoma State’s defense look awfully silly and exploded into the wide-open field for a stunning 42-yard touchdown.

Once he found space, he was unstoppable. Oklahoma State had at least two, maybe three, reasonable chances to tackle Robinson and ruin his big-play opportunity, but he’s just too good and too fast.

“What a sweet move!”

College football fans on Twitter thought so too.
