The Houston Texans didn’t have a full practice Tuesday, but eight players were listed as “did not participate” on the team’s official injury report estimation for Week 18 against the Indianapolis Colts.
The key names listed are passer rusher Will Anderson Jr. (ankle), wide receivers Noah Brown (back) and Robert Woods (hip) and defensive linemen Sheldon Rankins (ankle), Maliek Collins (hip) and Jonathan Greenard (ankle).

Of that group, only Collins, Greenard and fullback Andrew Beck missed Week 17. The rest of this list played key roles in the 26-3 win over the Tennessee Titans. Anderson returned after a two-game absence to record two sacks, Rankins returned a fumble for a touchdown and Brown led the team with seven receptions for 80 yards.
The hope for Houston is Greenard and Collins can come back for the team’s critical Week 18 contest. Greenard leads the team with 12.5 sacks, while Collins has five sacks and 18 quarterback hits.
If the Texans win this week, they’ll make the playoffs for the first time since 2019. Houston can also win the AFC South with a win and a Jacksonville Jaguars loss.
A lot will be riding on this season finale for the Texans.
