Texans vs. Bears: Time, TV schedule and streaming info for Week 3

The Houston Texans and Chicago Bears didn’t have the Week 2s they expected.

The Texans, coming off a 20-20 tie with the Indianapolis Colts at NRG Stadium in Week 1, sought to build on the momentum of not giving away another big game to the Colts, but failed to muster a single touchdown in Week 2. The Texans offense tallied just 233 yards total offense as the Denver Broncos prevailed 16-9 to get their first win of the year.

The Bears had positive momentum coming off their Week 1 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Chicago executed a fourth quarter comeback and inaugurated the Matt Eberflus era with a win, and also showed that second-year quarterback Justin Fields has the goods to make things happen on offense. However, the Bears were no match for the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers on Sunday Night Football as it looked like any era of the past 14 seasons that Rodgers has been under center for the Packers.

A win for Houston puts ones across their record and captures the positivity that is quickly fading. Coach Lovie Smith had Houston excited for the 2022 season, but another loss could have Clutch City sports fans looking ahead to the 2023 offseason and not investing in the 2022 regular season.

A victory for the Bears has them above .500 and back on the right track under Eberflus, and also gives Fields more confidence.
