Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields has established himself as a formidable threat on the ground, and earned a nomination for FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.
Fields led the Bears with 18 carries for 104 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 11.
Other nominees include Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary. The reigning Ground Player of the Week had 22 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown in the Texans’ 21-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Pittsburgh running back Jaylen Warren had nine carries for 129 yards and a touchdown in the Steelers’ bout with the Cleveland Browns.
Among the Air Player of the Week nominees, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love went 27-of-40 for 322 yards and two touchdowns with a 108.5 passer rating against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa completed 28 of 39 attempts for 325 yards, two touchdowns, and a 103.0 passer rating in the 20-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
San Francisco 49ers signal caller Brock Purdy went 21-of-25 for 333 yards, three touchdowns, and a perfect 158.3 passer rating in the 27-14 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Each Air and Ground winner will have a $2,000 donation in their name made to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) all season long.
