The Houston Texans will be in the market for a new offensive line coach.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Pro Football Network, James Campen has left the Texans and will be joining the Carolina Panthers under coach Matt Rhule.
What sparked the move for Campen could be the recent signing of Ben McAdoo as the offensive coordinator. McAdoo and Campen worked together under Mike McCarthy’s staff at the Green Bay Packers from 2006-13. Campen stayed on through the end of the McCarthy era in 2018 while McAdoo left in 2014 to become the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants, eventually becoming coach from 2016-17.
With the Texans looking for a new offensive line coach, it comes as the team is also searching for their fifth full-time coach in team history.
