Houston Texans receiver Tank Dell took a big hit.
With 7:35 to go in the second quarter of Week 10 against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Texans rookie took what seemed to be a late hit from Bengals safety Dax Hill — at least, referee Carl Cheffers’ crew thought as much by their lack of penalty.
With Dell, who has quickly become a fan favorite, taking that type of hit and no penalty assessed, it riled up Texans fans. Here are some of the best remarks about the no-call on Twitter.
Only thing that can stop the #Texans today are the refs

Looks like we are playing the refs as well as the Bengals!

Oof Tank Dell got rocked by Dax Hill.
Thought Hill might get a taunting penalty for standing over him. #bengals #texans— Teeth (@TeethVanHorn) November 12, 2023
No place for a hit like that anymore… Prayers up for Tank Dell.
