The Houston Texans a lending a hand out to those affected by the wildfires out in Southern California.
The Texans are pledging $1 million in donations to those ongoing relief efforts.
“The devastation caused by the wildfires in Southern California is heartbreaking,” Texans principal owner Cal McNair said in a statement. “We are proud to join together with our NFL family to provide support and resources to those who have been impacted as well as the firefighters and first responders who continue to work tirelessly to contain the fires.”
They’re not alone in the quest to help restore the beauty that has left those without a home. The NFL, the Los Angeles Chargers, the Los Angeles Rams and the Minnesota Vikings all donated to bring the total up to a $5 million commitment from the league to help those impacted..

The city’s recovery is going to be long but the NFL is committed to aiding in those efforts.
The money from the league will be used to help individuals affected by the fires, families, and the first responders in need of additional resources and support in a community impacted by fires, especially the Palisades area.
The Texans take on the Chargers on Saturday in the wild-card round. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
