Texans clobber Chargers, gain divisional round in NFL playoffs

The Los Angeles Chargers might want to avoid AFC South teams in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs.

The Houston Texans rattled off 20 straight points en route to a 32-12 win on Saturday, The AFC South champs fell behind 6-0 but scored 20 straight after that.

Even when the Chargers broke that run, they gave up two points when a blocked PAT was returned to the end zone by D’Angelo Ross.

Joe Mixon iced the victory with a TD run.

Justin Herbert threw four interceptions against the Texans; he was picked three times in the entire regular season.

The last time the Chargers were in the playoffs they faced the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In that game, the Bolts led 27-0 before seeing the Jags rally for a 31-30 victory.
