Texans activate CB Derek Stingley from injured reserve

The Houston Texans are getting back a key defensive back for their showdown with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10.

The Texans activated second-year cornerback Derek Stingley from injured reserve. The former No. 3 overall pick had missed the past six games with a hamstring injury.

Through the first two games, Stingley collected nine combined tackles.

The Texans also guard Dieter Eiselen from the practice squad to the active roster.

Houston listed tight end Dalton Keene and kicker Matt Ammendola as their two standard practice squad elevations for Week 10.

The Texans also placed kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn on injured reserve with a quad injury.

Houston waived tackle Austin Deculus from the active roster.
