Tess Daly has stunned her followers after sharing a throwback snap to celebrate husband Vernon Kay's birthday. Fans were quickly commenting on the post as the Strictly Come Dancing host publicly sent her other half her birthday wishes.
Former All Star Family Fortunes turned This Morning host Vernon turned 48 on Thursday (April 28). To mark the occasion Tess, from Stockport, shared a loved-up photo of the pair from the first birthday that they had shared together more than two decades ago.
The sweet picture showed Tess, 53, looking no different from how she does today in a matching purple outfit that consisted of a see-through top and matching skirt with her make-up to match. Meanwhile, Vernon had opted for a black oversized coat and was sporting longer, curly locks.
The snap showed Tess throwing both her arms around the waist of her then-boyfriend as he kept one hand in his pocket and the other firmly on Tess' back. Captioning the post, presenter Tess wrote: "23 birthdays later HBD @vernonkay," alongside the heart, heart-eyed face and face surrounded by hearts emojis.
But as people started sharing their birthday messages for Vernon, other couldn't believe what they were seeing and how youthful the pair, especially Tess, still were compared with when the picture was taken.

Tess and Vernon started dating shortly after meeting on T4 and tied the knot in fairy-tale wedding in Vernon's hometown of Bolton in 2003. The couple then become proud parents to daughters Phoebe and Amber - now 17 and 12.
And it's not the first time the pair have been complimented on their youthful appearance. Tess had once again shared an old snap with her Instagram followers, showing the fresh-faced couple back in the day. "Flashback to these young things," Tess wrote alongside the post to her more than 700,00 followers. "Who would have thought I was pregnant with my eldest who’s 17 in a few weeks! Time flies."
But as well as fans sharing their shock, Vernon also took to the comments, but to point out that there was someone else in the photo. "@antonycotton That you??" he wrote to Coronation Street actor Antony, best known for playing the role of Sean Tully. To which he replied: "It is! Tess has well cut me off!!!"
