Tess Daly and Vernon Kay party with rarely seen daughter Phoebe at Beyonce gig

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay enjoyed a family night out to watch Beyonce perform last night.

The telly couple, who celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary this September, got glammed up for their night with Queen Bey at Tottenham Hotspur's stadium in North London, taking along their two daughters, Phoebe, 18 and Amber, 14.

Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess, 54, posted several pics from their night out showing the huge stage set-up, Vernon, 49, singing along and a photo which showed their eldest sitting back ready to enjoy the show wearing a pair of silver trousers and wrap around shades.

Tess was also glammed up to the nines, wearing a metallic peach dress (£65 from River Island) and 00s-inspired aviators.

She captioned the post: "Not your average family night out [laughing face emoji] @beyonce you were everything and more! [disco ball emoji]."

Tess recently admitted that she tracks her kids' movements on a specialised phone app - and gets anxious about new driver Phoebe being away from home for too long.

She said: "When your child starts to drive, that's a whole new minefield."

Speaking on Sophie Ellis-Bextor's Spinning Plates podcast, Tess said: "I've got that app LIFE360 and I track Phoebe on it obsessively until she gets to her destination.

"It's because she's a new driver and the relief when I see she's reached it, you never stop worrying.

"She's only gone for 20 minutes and I'm a nervous wreck, it's ridiculous, loosen the leash."

But despite her worries, Tess explained that she and Vernon are always on hand to help their children with anything as they have a "great relationship."

The star opened up, explaining that as their daughters get older, they need more life advice and "more mental hand-holding".

But added: "You never stop parenting, I don't know when that all-seeing eye ends."

Earlier this year, Tess explained that she was "in denial" as the family were set for a "big change" as their daughter was turning 18 and planned to leave the family home.

"She's not ever leaving, I can't think about it," she joked during an appearance on Loose Women.

Meanwhile, Radio 2 presenter Vernon has said their children need to "find themselves" rather than having their "life on a plate".

"We let them be independent when it comes to them and their futures," he told MailOnline before continuing: "It's important that you allow them to find themselves, which is character building and personality development."
