One Tesco employee is helping shoppers during the cost of living crisis by sharing a clever hack that can help you get three times your money back.
The supermarket chain's staff member took to social media to share some insider knowledge on how shoppers can save money and get free trips - and it includes your Clubcard.
Tesco's loyalty scheme has become popular for helping shoppers to save money on everyday essentials when you are in store, but it can also offer more lucrative rewards that most are not taking advantage of.
In fact, many shoppers don't know that they can use your points to treat yourself to a fun activity, which is something that we could all use right now.
Gracie Jayne took to her TikTok account (@graciejayneadventures) to share the lesser-known fact that will could help shoppers claim back three times the normal amount of cashback, reports The Manchester Evening News.
In a clip that has since been viewed 75.9k times, the sales assistant shared a "worker tip" that anyone with one of the supermarket's Clubcard's can benefit from.
She told her viewers: "I was scanning all these Clubcard vouchers and I remember that not a lot of people know that you can get three times as much money back to spend on hotels.
Gracie then shows how customers can head to the Clubcard app where they can scroll down to a section that is titled "Rewards." From here, customers will find a range of great deals that they can choose from, including days out at theme parks and hotel stays.
The supermarket employee has said that her own go-to savings are with hotels.com.
She said: ''The one I use this a hotels.com one. You get three times as much back. So for every £5 of vouchers, you get £15.
Honestly don’t know why people don’t use the extra free money!"
She also explained that she used the vouchers to pay for hostels for her interrailing trip whilst she enjoys her gap year. People were amazed by the hack and were annoyed they didn't know about it sooner.
"Have had two holidays off the back of this!", one wrote.
Another said: "Me and my boyfriend use it to go for a meal every couple of months."
