Whether you haven’t put your tree up yet or your home is basked in a festive LED glow, this Tesco deal might be too hard to resist. Clubcard holders can take home a potted Christmas tree for just £5.
Savvy shoppers spotted the deal in some larger Tesco stores, including in Newcastle. The pot-grown Norman fir trees usually cost £25.
The label on the tree says that they are guaranteed up until January 6th, giving your new addition plenty of life over Christmas. Some stores also have larger trees, usually costing £30, reduced to £6.25 for Clubcard holders.

The deal is available exclusively for Clubcard members and if you aren’t signed up by the time you reach the checkout, you’ll be facing the full price. You can register online or in the app for Clubcard and you can usually access your Clubcard straight away.
Posting on Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains group, one user wrote: "After seeing the post of Tesco Christmas trees reduced, my boyfriend went into our local one and although they were still priced £30, he asked and they were actually scanned at £6! So go and ask as they’re all reduced."
Another said: “I got one of these today too from my local Tesco, bargain for £5, it's now on my front drive with some Christmas lights on.” And a third said that she managed to pick up some half-price lights and now had a beautiful tree in her driveway for less than £10.
Shoppers have praised the Clubcard scheme with many items throughout the store discounted exclusively for members. Recently, the store’s deal for a 1ltr bottle of Baileys for just £10 thrilled shoppers.
