Tesco shoppers are keen to find a new 'low carb' doughnut after spotting it online.
The 'Fibre One' strawberries & cream doughnuts are 90 calories each and are perfect for a sweet snack. Fibre One is a brand known for its low calorie treats including its 'squares' which come in flavours such as birthday cake, chocolate brownie and salted caramel.
The doughnut comes in two different flavours, strawberries & cream and chocolate. Each box costs £2.89, and comes with four 23g doughnuts in a pack.
Shared to the popular foodie page Newfoodsuk, the doughnuts quickly gained plenty of attention. The page has 200k followers who like to keep up to date on the latest foods and snacks launched across the UK, it also has an Instagram page.
Showcasing the new low carb doughnuts, the post read: "New Fibre One Strawberry & Cream Doughnuts! Now available at Tesco!" The post received over 200 comments and 250 likes from Tesco shoppers keen to snap up the sweet treat.
One shopper said: "I bet these are so yummy." A second commented: "I need these."
A third tagged their friend and said: "We need to get these." A fourth also tagged their friend and said: "Please find these."
The Fibre One doughnuts are currently available instore and online, although shoppers may be waiting a while for their doughnuts. The new addition to the Fibre One family won't be available for delivery or collection until July 18, so there's a bit of a wait yet.
