A Tesco shopper has shared a handy price trick to get your items at a discounted price even if you've left your card at home.
Tesco is known for its Clubcard prices which allow shoppers to buy items such as food, drink and toiletries at a lower price than those who do not own a card.

In order to get a Clubcard and get access to exclusive deals in-store and online, you must be 18-years-old or over.
Shoppers have been sharing their bargain finds on sites such as Facebook and TikTok with Tesco items among many of the posts - and now one shopper has shared a tip not many are aware of.
Taking to Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, one member posted a reminder to shoppers about what to do if they forget their Tesco Clubcard whilst shopping - and it's a good one to use to save money.
They wrote: "Only just learned this today when I did some late night shopping, so apologies if others already knew update note: I’m aware you can download the app or put on the phones virtual wallet but I share a family members card and also prefer using physical cards as a personal preference anyway
"As most people know, if you forgot your Clubcard then you have 14 days to go to the customer service desk and add your points.
"But what I just learned is that if anything was under the Clubcard price promotion during your shop, then you also get the difference back (woman at the till informed me of this).
"For example tonight I would’ve saved £3.03 with Clubcard price but I didn’t find my Clubcard until after I paid, I went to customer service and they refunded the £3.03 to the card/original payment method I used to pay for my shopping.
"Now I don’t feel the need to put things back because I forgot my Clubcard and don’t want to pay full price when things are on Clubcard promotion as I know I can get my money back later on."
The post which received 1.1k likes, over 200 comments and 117 comments, was a hit with shoppers who didn't know that they could do this.
In response one wrote: " I work for Tesco and it’s only expresses and petrol filling stations that don’t do this. All others absolutely have the tech to do this at the customer service desk only. Any issues tell them it’s on f11. They will know what that is and you will need your original receipt."
Another added: "Well that’s great to know. I went the other day and did the same as you but didn’t realise until I paid I had forgot my Clubcard. I didn’t even think of it myself. Great to know in case I’m daydreaming next time and forget to scan my Clubcard."
A third said: "This happened to me yesterday but my savings were £18.79, so glad the lady told me I would never have thought about it."
